The Camerata Taiwan was founded in 2016 by its director and violist Hao-Hsiang Chang. The ensemble comprises promising young Taiwanese musicians from home and abroad, who gather every summer to present annual concert tour in Taiwan, led by Taiwanese conductor Su-Han Yang weitere Info, winner of the 10th International Grzegorz Fitelberg Competition for Conductors. The Camerata Taiwan has been establishing a fine reputation for its infectious passion and precision of music making. Their insightful interpretation and profoundly touching performances constantly received critical acclaim. They are open-minded and curious to try new things not only when working on masterpieces of great composers in the past, but also in supporting Taiwanese composers by commissioning new works and keeping them played. World premiere of new compositions and Taiwan premiere of rare works are often appeared on their concert program. In addition to giving highly anticipated concerts in Taiwan, they are keen to go abroad. A visit to Germany in March 2022 with concerts in three cities has been planned.
