Richard Lee has performed a wide range of repertoires from Baroque music to modern contemporary works at the international stages. His performances have taken him across three continents, leaving his musical footprints all over the world.

In 2003, Lee was awarded with a full Mitzi Foundation Scholarship and started his music studies at The Julliard School. After that, Richard continued his studies at the Walnut Hill Arts School and New England Conservatory of Music.

Subsequently, He studied with Marco Rizzi at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia at Madrid, Spain. During his study in Spain, he met Japanese violinist and pedagog Midori Goto who was on her European tour. Midori agreed to give him lessons after her concerts and encouraged him to audition at University of Southern California where she was teaching. Richard then transferred in the following year to USC in Los Angeles to further his musical studies with Midori. During his studies back in the US, he continued to place high in numerous music competitions.

He moved back to his hometown Taipei right before the pandemic started. Since he took cinematic and acting courses at USC, he started acting and starred in many Asian TV series during the world-lockdown period. While filming, he continued to perform classical music at national concert halls, including recitals with different instruments, as well as performing concerti as a soloist with the New Art Symphony Orchestra, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, and Evergreen Symphony Orchestra. Richard is a celebrity, an actor, model, brand ambassador and violin soloist who has gained a wide range of fans from all over the world. Whatever he does, his only mission is to bring classical music and a peace of mind to every corner possible in the world.
